Two arrested for using minors as prostitutes.
- The police have arrested 2 women from Swagat Restaurant located in Naya Bus Park Mitranagar, Kathmandu, on the charge of sexually assaulting a minor. Among those arrested are 25-year-old Manju from Dolakha Jiri Municipality 9, Shrujana Tamang Ghisingani and 26-year-old Nisha Ramila from Nuwakot Belkot Municipality 4The police deputed from the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau Babarmahal, who are Nepalese, arrested the bar manager and the victim girl was also rescued. The arrestees were found to be using the money collected by the restaurant manager from contacting 5 to 15 customers daily in the hope of making them work as waitersSpokesperson Gautam said that the court has extended the investigation by three days in the human trafficking case from Kathmandu
